Channel 4 reality TV star announces her boyfriend has died - and she's been sleeping on his grave and also had a heart attack
A Channel 4 reality TV star has announced that her boyfriend has died suddenly - and she's been sleeping on his grave.
Jess Megan, who starred on Channel 4's Bring Back The Bush in 2020, has returned to social media for the first time in four years to tell her fans the heartbreaking news.
Megan, who is a model, revealed that her partner Ollie died in March 2025. She shared a video featuring 12 clips of her throughout the past year since Ollie’s death.
Jess said Ollie died of “sudden adult death” and that he went to bed and didn't wake up. She learned the news from his flatmate.
She wrote candidly about how she has struggled for months following Ollie's death, explaining how she has even slept on his grave. She added that her grief made her “feral”.
In her post, she said: “I was walking to the shop bare-footed in a bathrobe and telling anyone who would listen that my boyfriend was dead. Then I would drink a box of wine and smoke thirty cigarettes until I couldn’t keep my eyes open. Grief made me feral. I didn’t sleep, because sleep was the only place I got to see him, experience sweet relief, only to wake up and find out he was gone all over again.”

In the March clip from her Instagram video, which was presumably taken just days after Ollie’s death, Megan is shown with a bloodied nose and revealed she slept on Ollie's grave. She did not explain why she had blood on her nose.
In the June clip, she shared a clip of herself crying and wrote: “It's summer and I don't leave the house for months”. By July, she said she “couldn't stop drinking” and was “no longer speaking to anyone”. By August, she was 'out of her mind' and was then smoking 40 cigarettes a day by September. In October, Jess said she was hospitalised after suffering a heart attack.
In her caption, Megan wrote: “I took pictures of myself throughout all of this, to remember, I suppose. To remember how deeply and irrevocably f****d I was, and that if I managed to survive this then I could survive anything. That If the sun ever came out again, I would take full advantage. I didn’t know it then, but that idea was hope.
“But the sun didn’t come out for a really, really long time. Grief costs a lot. Good health, good judgement, happiness, friends, confidence, self-discipline, hygiene, sleep and time. The list is long.”
She went on: “What I want people to know, is that there is a way out. Whatever your situation is. However you’ve been hurt (Grief isn’t exclusive to death). But that way out is not linear. It’s a gruelling obstacle course while everyone else seems to be on a low-level hike. Not everyone who loves you will understand it, some might even leave you.
“The usual safety precautions and relationships we’ve come to rely on in the past give way and you end up looking like your life like hot Jeff Goldblum looking at that massive pile of s**t. But here’s what I want you to know: you’re actually capable of anything. I know it’s dismaying to hear it, when more than anything you just want it to be over. But you are.]
“You’ll do it wrong, you’ll make huge, irresponsible mistakes, you’ll think this is it. Life can’t be good again. But it can be and it will. Just take every day in minutes. I love you, nugget. It’ll be alright.'
Megan also appeared as a guest on the Distraction Pieces podcast this month, where she spoke about Ollie. “I adored him,” she said, saying the pair were “deeply in love”.
The TV star appeared on Channel 4’s Bring Back The Bush: Where Did All The Pubic Hair Go? in 2020. The show explored the cultural pressures surrounding female grooming and body hair removal.
