Standing together and speaking directly to the camera, they said that while they were in Los Angeles around 18 months ago they went out for a nice evening together. But, something went wrong and they found themselves in an unknown location after being drugged and sexually assaulted.

“When we were in LA in September 2024, we went for dinner in West Hollywood and then went to a bar afterwards. We ordered one drink and then completely blacked out,” Toby explained. He continued: “I then woke up in a completely strange place, with a person I didn’t recognise and I had been completely stripped of all my clothes.

The social media star continued to say that he also realised he was “surrounded” by weapons in the room - and he couldn’t see his husband. “I was obviously just really scared about what was happening and where Mikey was,” he said.

He went on: “I then managed to convince the person that was in the room with me to let me leave the room with him, to see Mikey and this other person passed out on the sofa.”

Recalling his version of events, Mikey said: “At the same time as that, me and the other guy were basically coming around but still quite out of it.” He continued to say that his husband “saved us” and managed to get them both out of the apartment.

The couple then went on to explain that the ordeal had left them suffering with their mental health. They added that since it happened they had been avoiding drinking, social events or going on holiday. However, they have decided to return to their travels.

Toby said: “This year, we are taking our power back, we are taking control of things and not letting stupid idiots ruin our existence.” He then told their 615,000 fans that he and Mikey are going on holiday again. They are currently on a family holiday in Barbados.

In the caption, the couple wrote that it was finally time to “move on with openness” rather than fear. They have received many messages of support from their followers. One fan said: “Ohh Toby and Mike, I am really sorry that this happened to you guys. Sending you guys love and healing.”

A second said: “No one should ever have to experience this boys I’m so sorry.” A third wrote: “Biggest inspirations, love you both!!”
