Married at First Sight UK has come to an end after 10 years, as Channel 4 confirmed it has been axed following an external review. But, there are a few couples who can credit the show with being the reason they are married today.
The once hit show has ended in controversy due to serious allegations against their on-screen spouses from previous participants, and an 11th series that had already been filmed earlier this year will not air. However, across 10 series that did air there are a few pairings that have led to long-lasting relationships.
The show, which first aired in the UK in 2015, saw singles put themselves forward to be matched and married by experts. They then entered into a weeks-long experiment, where they moved in with their partner and carried out a series of tests and challenges with them to find out if they really could fall in love and stay together.
Participants were given the chance to leave their marriage and the show at the weekly commitment ceremonies, where they sat down with the experts and discussed what was happening in their relationship. Those who stayed until the end of the two month experiment then went to a final vow ceremony, where they declared if they wanted to take their relationship into the real world or not.

2. Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling
Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling met on the show in 2021. That year, there was a change made so that the weddings in the show were no longer legal unions, but Adam proposed to Tayah for real at the end of the process and they married in December 2023. They also welcomed the first baby to be born as a result of the show, and have gone on to have a second. Tayah gave birth to Beau Emily Aveling at Doncaster hospital, alongside then fiancé Adam, in October 2022. The couple's second child, a son called Jenson Joe Aveling (JJ), was born in April 2025. 3. Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson
Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson have been together ever since meeting at the altar during Married at First Sight UK season 7 in 2022. They revealed in October 2023 that they had taken off their wedding rings from the show, as they were not actually married, and wished to date like a regular couple. However, they did also say they'd like to marry one day on their MAFS wedding date. The pair announced they were engaged for real in June 2024, and got married in July 2026. 4. Abigail and John
Abigail and John fell for each other the moment they saw each other at the altar in MAFS UK series 10, and they have remained besotted with each other ever since. They declared their love for one another after a few weeks together and didn't have one crossed word with each other throughout the experiment. At the reunion they told the experts and their co-stars they wanted to be together for the rest of their lives. They also said they were planning on moving in together and would have at least one child. It's now been around a year since they tied the knot on TV, they moved in together in January 2026, and they still regularly share loved up photos and videos on social media. | Channel 4 Photo: Channel 4
