The Spider-Man co-stars have fielded relationship rumours since they were first cast in the superhero franchise in 2016.

This is what you need to know.

Are Zendaya and Tom Holland dating?

It appeared that the two confirmed their relationship after they were seen kissing in a car in July.

They were first reported to be dating in 2017, but they denied these romance rumours and went on to date other people. Zendaya was with Australian actor Jacob Elordi, and Holland with English actress Nadia Parkes.

While they have kept their relationship status quiet, most recently the pair were seen at a wedding together.

Zendaya and Holland made an appearance in a photo posted by fellow guest Esteban Camarillo on his Instagram story.

The romance between Zendaya and Holland was almost inevitable, as previous versions of MJ and Spider-Man/Peter Parker have also gotten together - first it was Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst and then it was Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone.

While neither Zendaya or Holland have said anything about their relationship, a source reportedly spoke to US Weekly, saying: “They both challenge each other and balance each other out.

“Zendaya and Tom started off as really great friends and stayed that way for a long while before things turned romantic.”

The source also added that Zendaya has helped Holland navigate fame, saying: “She really helps guide him through the world of celebrity.”
