If you want some impressive guns, head to Gunnar Peterson - the personal trainer who has amassed numerous A-List clientele after being in the business for 30 years.

Gunnar is based in the middle of Beverly Hills and, as well as training the likes of the NHL, NFL and being the Director of Strength and Endurance for the Los Angeles Lakers, he has coached Kim Kardashian, Sylvester Stallone, Matthew McConaughey and Hugh Jackman in dynamic workouts.

Fans have ‘marvelled’ at the fitness of actors in the Marvel and DC Universe, whether it be Chris Evans’ biceps or Chris Hemsworth’s abdominals and the fandom can thank one PT for helping the actors achieve the results.

Former Marine sniper and Navy SEAL Duffy Gaver has spoken about training the cast including Scarlett Johansson to prepare them for the roles, suggesting the only reason someone is out of shape is because ‘you’re not being honest with yourself about what you can really do'.

A key female figure at the forefront of the Hollywood PT industry is Jeanette Jenkins, who is notably the founder and president of The Hollywood Trainer LLC. 

A PT, author and television personality Jeanette Jenkins has trained multiple leading ladies in the industry - be it musicians, actors or sporting personalities including P!nk, Serena Williams, Alicia Keys and Kelly Rowland.

Workouts do not need to be painful - for Tracy Anderson the way forward is through dance workouts, Pilates and light weight lifting, which has attracted a host of celebrities such as Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and J-Lo.

Another New York-based personal trainer is Justin Gelbrand who has been closely linked with keeping models looking trim on the catwalks.

As the owner of ModelFit in Manhattan, you could expect to see the likes of Karlie Kloss, Miranda Kerr or Chrissy Teigen walking through Justin’s doors to combine cardio-based workouts with a strict dietary routine of no sugar, no alcohol and only consuming brown rice or veg as a carb.

While Aaron’s clientele shows how successful he is as a personal trainer with Jamie Foxx, Dwayne Johnson and Sylvester Stallone coming to him for strength and conditioning, the former US Marine has faced some hurdles to get to this point.

Entering the industry after doing two Tours of Duty in 2009 before moving to Los Angeles in 2016, Aaron set up a Fitness Training Business and had to live out of his car for a period of time.
