Popular bakery chain Krispy Kreme has ignited excitement among Pokémon fans with its latest culinary collaboration.

Hide AdTeaming up with The Pokémon Company, Krispy Kreme has introduced a range of Pokémon-themed doughnuts representing iconic Pokémon like Pikachu, Jigglypuff and Diglett, each with its own flavour.
The unveiling of the treats occurred through various social media channels, as Krispy Kreme Korea took to Instagram and said: “IF YOU ARE A POKEMON FAN YOU CAN’T MISS THIS. Check out our wide range of menu items and goodies!”
The doughnuts - each representing a different Pokémon - feature flavours such as lemon, strawberry, dark chocolate, and strawberry milk cream.
The flavours are as follows:

- Jigglypuff – Sweet strawberry
- Diglett – Dark chocolate
- Ditto – Strawberry milk cream
- Pikachu – Cream of the corn
The new doughnuts will also be accompanied by a brightly coloured Pokémon-themed drink set to debut on May 3. They are available for purchase in a 6-count box, featuring an additional original glazed doughnut - pricing details have not yet been confirmed.
Will the Pokémon doughnuts come to the UK?
While the announcement has excited Pokémon fans around the world, the new doughnuts are available exclusively in South Korea, and are not currently available in the UK.

Hide AdFollowing the social media announcement, many fans expressed disappointment over the unavailability of the doughnuts in their area.
“Everywhere gets cool things but the US,” one fan wrote, while another said “this is why I need to move to Japan or the surrounding Asian countries. I’m not meant for this life of boring American doughnuts.”
Despite this, Pokémon fans are hopeful that there may be a potential expansion of the collaboration to other countries. However, previous crossovers between Krispy Kreme and the Pokémon universe never made it to the UK.

Hide AdIn 2021, the bakery celebrated the franchise's 25th anniversary by offering doughnuts shaped like iconic Pokémon such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and Pikachu - the original starters from the first Pokémon games released on the Game Boy in 1996.
Unfortunately, those treats were offered only in Australia.
The Pokémon series is a globally popular franchise created by Nintendo, which revolves around fictional creatures called Pokémon, which humans, known as Pokémon Trainers, catch and train to battle each other for sport.
The franchise includes video games, trading card games, animated television series, movies, and various merchandise.
