As Beyoncé and Jay-Z net worth rises, here is how they have made their money and been added to the billionaire’s club

Individually Beyoncé and Jay-Z have earned a lot of money but together the power couple have become billionaires and one of the richest celebrity couples in Hollywood. The singer has earned $500 million through music and endorsement deals with the rapper’s net worth rising since selling 50 percent of D’Ussé Cognac back to Bacardi.

It was revealed last week that Beyoncé would be cutting business ties with sportwear brand Adidas and her Ivy Park collaboration. But as the singer says bye to Adidas it’s hello to Parisian house brand Balmain. The singer posed on the front cover for Vouge France as she launches Renaissance Couture collection with fashion designer Olivier Rousteing.

Forbes reported that Jay-Z is now the richest rapper on the planet. The title was previously held by Kanye West but he lost his status after Adidas terminated their contract with him. The publication also put Jay-Z (Shawn Carter) as the 1,210th richest person in the world.

The couple have been married since 2008 and are known to keep their relationship private. However, they are now one of the richest celebrity couples in the world, surpassing David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John and David Furness and Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively.

So how have they garnered so much money? The power couple have obviously earned a huge amount from their album collaborations and their 2018 ‘On The Run II’ worldwide tours. Which according to Capital Extra grossed an estimated $276 million.

But it’s not just music and tours that have boosted their net worth. The couple invested a reported $10 million in the cosmetic brand Carols Daughter and were the faces for jewellery brand Tiffany & Co latest ad campaign. As well as endorsement deals with Bing, Budweiser, and Hewlett-Packard, this gives the couple a combined net worth of £2.5 billion, putting them high-up in the billionaire’s club.
