Some may consider a good night’s sleep as essential before a big day whether it be your wedding, an exam or for pop stars, a concert; other singers may want to have a big party to celebrate being in a country away from their home while on tour.

Either way, US stars have a pretty big selection of London hotels to choose from when they fly to this side of the pond to perform, with some suitable enough for pop royalty.

For Queen Bey, the Corinthia London is the perfect home away from home, as seen by her frequent visits to their Royal Penthouse suite with her husband Jay-Z.

The ‘Love on Top’ singer checked into the Corinthia, which is located moments away from Trafalgar Square and Whitehall, earlier this year when performing at Tottenham Hotspur stadium before being spotted at Oswald’s private members club and Harry’s Bar.

While the Corinthia is fit for Queen Bey, other pop princes and princesses have favoured different establishments. PeopleWorld takes a look at where artists who are performing in London over the coming week could be staying:

Pink

Pink has signed up for two concerts in Hyde Park this weekend for their British Summer Time festival.

Performing alongside the likes of Sam Ryder and Tinashe, as well as bringing out special guest Gwen Stefani for her Summer Carnival, the ‘So What’ hitmaker will possibly be checking into a hotel surrounding the park.

The concert’s location is fitting as Pink has previously stayed in Bulgari Hotel on Knightsbridge with her husband Carey Hart and their children on their trips to London, which is located across the street from Hyde Park - perfect for this weekend’s gig.

Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani will ‘no doubt’ feel comfortable performing in Hyde Park this weekend alongside Pink as the American musician already calls London her home. The No Doubt singer is believed to still own a £4 million home in the capital’s Primrose Hill area, and has previously been seen enjoying playdates with her kids in the neighbouring parks.

However, in 2009, while Gwen was touring in Singapore and renting out the property to Dame Elizabeth Forgan, the front door was broken down by a group of burglars, who were then unsuccessful in raiding the property.

As SZA says on Instagram, ‘Europe’s been a doozie’ and the fun continues for the pop star as she returns to the UK for two more dates in the O2 Arena.

While no one has reported about where the ‘Kill Bill’ singer tends to reside when in the capital city, PeopleWorld suggests a couple of the luxury hotels near the arena in Greenwich such as the Intercontinental or the Four Seasons.
