I'm in the hot seat today as our editor Marina has a well deserved day off.

When you speak the truth you set yourself free. It takes courage for the hugely talented Celine Dion to discuss her diagnosis of Stiff Person Syndrome on a world stage. The global singing star, who has been performing and writing songs since the age of 12, has announced that she has had to cancel her European tour due to the incurable condition.

We've got her as our top pick of the day at People World. It takes extraordinary bravery to announce this and it'll offer comfort to anyone else who has this rare condition. In an emotional video address to her fans, the Canadian singer revealed she has been struggling for some time with painful muscle spasms that "affect every part" of her daily life.

We wish her better health and hope she can continue to give people joy through her singing at a future date. She has rescheduled shows for 2024 at the moment.

Our next hot today is Harry Styles. The singer and actor was given a surprise as a fan ran onto the stage when he was performing in Rio De Janeiro. The 28-year-old star managed to avoid the fan, who appeared to have run on from backstage waving their arms and trying to make their way to Harry.

Harry kept on singing throughout the whole debacle, which ended with the fan being tackled to the ground by security. Styles then asked the audience 'everyone okay?' after watching the incident unfold. We think this shows great presence of mind and also puts the audience ahead of his own feelings.

There were concerns for audience safety after crushing events in recent years at gigs, so Harry ensuring people felt okay was the main thing to focus on. We think Harry is a man of the people after this concert and he's certainly styling out his recent split from director and actress Olivia Wilde.

Our last hot is the ever exuberant talent of Judi Dench. The Oscar-winning actress turns 88 today and she shows no signs of slowing down. We wish her a very happy birthday and look forward to seeing what she does next.

Now for our nots on this frosty Friday morning.

First up is the former Grey's Anatomy writer Elisabeth Finch. She made up a cancer diagnosis and has told her side of the story for the first time since it was revealed by her ex-wife in March 2022 and it was published in The Ankler.

In the same way that truth can set you free, lies can make your own trap. It's a really sad tale of a woman who was constantly living out a fantasy world - in both her fictional writing and in the narrative she gave of her own life. The fact she has spoken out is good and she now owns the lies she told, but it's a horrifying thing for genuine cancer patients to hear and read about.

Our second not is Ben White who has had an alleged bust-up with Steve Holland, the depute manager to Gareth Southgate. "We ask that the player's privacy is respected at this moment in time," the FA statement said. We hope the 25-year-old Ben is doing OK and he'll be very disappointed to have to leave the World Cup squad, no matter the reasons why. It means Southgate is one man down as he's not replacing White.

Our last not is Donald Trump. He is awaiting contempt of court charges after Trump's office allegedly did not comply with subpoena issued in May demanding the return of all classified documents, says a source.

This significantly raises the stakes for Trump as he awaits a criminal investigation into unauthorised retention of national security information and obstruction of justice.
