Dianna Agron denies she was in a relationship with Taylor Swift, a look at her dating history

Taylor Swift must be exhausted with being romantically linked to someone new every single day. Since splitting from boyfriend of six years actor Joe Alwyn in February the singer has been linked to Formula 1's Fernando Alonso and lead singer of the 1975 - Matty Healy.

This time the Anti-Hero songstress - who is currently on her Era’s tour - has been linked to Glee actress Dianna Agron. But all is not what it seems in the latest instalment of Taylor Swift’s relationship status.

The pair were friends and inseparable back in 2012 and the actress was included in the liner notes for the single ‘22’ from the album Red. Ashley Avignone, Claire Kislinger and Selena Gomez were also included in the notes.

Dianna has denied the rumours that the two stars dated. 

At the time the ladies were pictured together at events and birthday parties. Taylor gave a shout-out to her friends Lorde, Sam Smith, Selena and Dianna during her acceptance speech for the Dick Clark Award for Excellence at the 2014 American Music Awards. 

This led to fan theories that the two were more than just friends and actually romantically involved giving them the nickname ‘Swiftgron’. They believed Dianna was the inspiration for the single ‘22’. 

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone Dianna was asked about being the inspiration she explained “That's more because of a friendship than being the inspiration for the song. But I would not be the person to ask about that. I cannot claim that!”

Speaking about the decade-long rumours Dianna said “I mean, there have been many stories about my dating life that are so wildly untrue. That's funny.”

Dianna Agron Dating History 

Dianna dated 21 Jump Street actor Dave Franco, the younger brother of Spiderman actor James Franco for over a year between 2008 - 2009.  

She went on to date her ‘I Am Number Four’ co-star Alex Pettyfer in 2010 - 2011. 

A few years later Dianna was seen leaving the ‘Winter Soldier’ actor Sebastian Stan’s apartment but the pair only dated for a few months. 

In 2015 the actress was rumoured to be taking things slow with British actor and X-Men star Nicholas Hoult after they were seen together out on a few of pub dates. 

Dianna's most prolific relationship was with Mumford & Sons banjoist and lead guitarist Winston Marshall. The couple married after a whirlwind romance in Morocco in 2016 and she wore a Vivienne Westwood gown. The couple separated after less than four years of marriage and divorced in 2020. 

She is rumoured to currently be dating Belgium artist Harold Ancart.
