London Pride 2023: A look at who is performing on London Pride stages including Adam Lambert

London will see painted rainbows adorn the streets as millions are expected to descend upon the capital to enjoy and celebrate Pride 2023 with the theme ‘Never March Alone.’

The annual LGBTQ+ parade, which is one of the longest running and largest pride festivals across the country, brings together people of all genders, ethnicities, sexualities and races with free festivity events that usually take place in Trafalgar Square.

Although London Pride has roots all the way back in 1972 following the first UK Gay Pride Rally, this year marks an even more special occasion as Pride 2023 comes a decade after the first official Pride in London festival and parade when a group of individuals formed a registered community interest company.

As people prepare to come together for the 10th anniversary of London Pride on July 1 - after Kylie Minogue headlined Sydney's WorldPride - PeopleWorld takes a look at who will be performing across the capital on the various stages:

Trafalgar Square Stage

From midday, attendees will be able to enjoy an afternoon of world class entertainment and acts with American stars headlining the main stage in Trafalgar Square.

While American Idol winner and Queen frontman Adam Lambert will round out the festivities, people can expect to see Frozen’s Idina Menzel and YouTube star Todrick Hall take to the stage too.

LGBTQIA Women and Non-Binary Stage

Located in Leicester Square, you can divulge yourself on the hub of food stalls located around the stage that has been created for the LGBTQIA Women and Non Binary communities.

The acts organised for this area will be introduced by the Dynamic Duo Krystal Lake and Christian Adore.

Golden Square Stage

The Cocoa Butter Club, an organisation that showcases and celebrates performers of colour, has joined forces with Club Kali to take centre stage in the Golden Square.

Based in Soho, the City of Westminster, the Golden Square Stage will be a focal point for fans due to its ease of access from Carnaby Street, Oxford Street and Picadilly Circus.

Soho Square Stage

New for the 10th Pride in London parade and festival is the transgender-led stage in Soho Square curated by artist Mzz Kimberley.

Feast on some of the food and drink sold around the square while listening to the speeches, performances and activism from trans hosts.

Dean Street Stage

Life is a cabaret old chum on the Dean Street Stage as drag king LoUis CYfer and queen Victoria Scone welcome 25 cabaret dancers and performers onto the stage.

Like the other stages, acts will begin from midday and can last until 6pm on 1 July.

Family Area

While London will be jam-packed with people celebrating Pride and the 30,000 participants, you may want to choose to head to the dedicated space in St Giles-in-the-Field where you can spend quality time with your LGBTQ+ families.
