But now sources claim the pair are engaged. According to The Mirror “Melanie was at the American Ballet Theatre and she was telling her friends she was engaged to Mick, 79. She was very clear her ring is an engagement ring and she is now his fiancée. Her family also very much understands them to be engaged and are thrilled.”

It will be The Rolling Stones frontman's third engagement to the dancer who is 43 years his junior after previously being engaged and married to actress Bianca Perez Mora Macias from 1971 to 1978. The exes share one daughter, jewellery designer Jade Jagger.

The rocker proposed to model Jerry Hall who he dated for 22 years. They had an unofficial wedding ceremony in Bali, Indonesia, in 1990 – but was later declared void. The exes share four children together: Georgia May Jagger, Elizabeth Jagger, Gabriel Jagger, James Jagger.

Mick first met Melanie in 2014, according to reports the pair were both on tour in Tokyo, Japan and met backstage after one of his shows.
