K-Pop group NCT have made their comeback this morning with the release of a music video for “Golden Age,” taken from their fourth studio album of the same name - their first full release since 2021’s “Universe.”

Ahead of the music video dropping this morning, SM Entertainment released a video teaser titled “NCT Connection 2023,” with members Taeyong, Jeno, Yuta, and Kun each, in the words of allkpop,  “resonating with their individualistic music and charisma, set against distinct urban backdrops.”

“Golden Age” preempts a second single to be released from the album, with “Baggy Jeans” set have a similar release format with a music video (MV) and appearing on streaming services on August 26 2023, so while there is still a short wait for their eagerly anticipated fourth album, SM Entertainment are making the most of having all the band members present for this release.

There is a hope that the album will replicate the success the band had in Western music charts that “Universe” had; upon its release the album peaked at number 20 in the Billboard 200 album chart, earning the top spot on the Billboard World chart at the same time. Though there are no plans yet for a tour outside of South East Asia, the group are set to perform NCT will hold five full-group stadium concerts in support of the new release.

Titled “NCT Nation: To The World”, the group are set to perform at the Incheon Munhak Stadium in South Korea, and at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai and Ajinomoto Stadium in Japan. Those shows follow on from NCT Dream's appearance at the conclusion of the misfortune-riddled 2023 World Scout Jamboree closing ceremony at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul on August 11, 2023.

NCT's album “Golden Age” is set for release on streaming platforms on August 28 2023 at 6pm KST (10am BST), while pre-orders for an accompanying photo book is now available through SM Entertainment's online store from today.
