We here at PeopleWorld believe in the ethos “respect your elders,” and it seems that both Rihanna and Jay-Z feel the same way if their latest random act of kindness is anything to go by. The pair must also be users of TikTok also, given who they sent the flowers to as a gesture of appreciation.

Is it a dance troupe or a group of make-up artists that the pair want to thank for their involvement in Rihanna’s most recent Super Bowl halftime show? Is it some of the producers involved in Rihanna’s stunning photo spread for the latest issue of Vogue? It’s actually a lot sweeter and warm-hearted than you’d expect.

Residents at a senior living facility in Kentucky were the recipients of two bouquets of flowers from the Roc Nation representatives, after a video of them recreating the Super Bowl halftime show moves back-up dancers undertook to Rihanna’s 2009 hit, ‘Rude Boy.’ That clip earned the patrons of the facility over 30 million views on TikTok and among the fans who watched the video were none other than Rihanna and Roc Nation co-founder Jay-Z, surprising the older fans at the Arcadia facility.

In a post shared to their Facebook page, Arcadia staff revealed a beautiful bouquet of 100 white roses, with the card attached to the flowers reading “You [sic] ladies dance was amazing. Lov Roc Nation. Rihanna.”

“We were just in shock,” Paige Oakes, Arcadia’s director of community relations, told Buzzfeed. “This whole time, we’ve just been waiting for a response from Rihanna – not really thinking that it would ever happen because we know she’s busy and we didn’t really know if she saw it or not.”

“It made our day knowing that it reached her and she got to watch it and enjoy seeing our residents dancing to her music and having fun.”

It was the second special delivery in a week for the unlikely TikTok stars, as Jay-Z sent 100 red roses to the older viral sensations days before Rihanna on behalf of Roc Nation as a whole. “They’ve really just enjoyed the last week and a half and all of the attention and all of the fame,” Oakes said about the residents’ new-found stardom.
