As Sam Fender is plays hometown gigs at St James' Park, we look at his dating history and net worth

Born in North Shields singer-songwriter Sam Fender is a huge Newcastle United fan and this weekend he will be playing a gig in the home of Newcastle United’s St James’ Park. Speaking on the BBC Breakfast programme wearing his beloved team’s tracksuit, Sam described how playing at the football stadium was “a childhood dream come true.”

The Brit-Award-winning Geordie was linked to singer Raye in 2022. The pair allegedly partied together at Sam’s private party in Four Quarters, in Peckham, South London. Sources claim they got on really well and had a lot in common. 

Later that year the ‘Seventeen Going Under’ singer was rumoured to be dating ‘Anatomy of a Scandal’ and actress Hannah Dodd. After catching his eye on social media Sam is believed to have made the first move by liking her photos. 

At the time a source told the Sun “Sam thinks Hannah is absolutely stunning and has been liking her pictures like crazy, which is of course very flattering for her. Sam and Hannah - who also starred in Hollywood film ‘Eternals’ - still follow each other on Instagram but he hasn’t liked any of her pictures since last June 2022.

The singer has also been linked to model Lottie Moss after liking her sexy NME photoshoot picture and singer Sigrid after flirting at a party and leaving together at 2:20am. However, it now seems he is single and back on the market. 

Before his singing career took off Sam tried a career in acting and modelling he had a small role in the pilot episode of ITV Vera and modelled for men's fashion wear brands Topman and Nike.

Sam's music career began after he was spotted performing in the Low Lights Tavern pub. He independently released his debut single ‘Play God’ and later signed to Polydor Records. He has since gone on to release two studio albums 21 singles and will be headlining at Leeds and Reading festival this summer.

Sam has an estimated net worth of around $4 million.
