Taylor Swift is proving once more that success is nothing to be ashamed of. The singer who is currently on her ‘Era’s Tour’ is unapologetically claiming her success and being the ultimate role model for women everywhere by highlighting the double standards surrounding success.

Taylor, who recently split from her boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn, is completely owning her success and who can blame her, she is one of the most successful female artists in the world and the first woman to headline the Allegiant Stadium in Nevada.

Before her performance of ‘The Man’ Taylor went on to point out the very obvious difference between men and women “bragging about raking in dollars”. She explained: “If I was out flashing my dollars, I’d be a bitch, not a baller.”

We live in a world where celebrating success is seen as arrogant, competitive and smug. As a society women in particular have been conditioned not to discuss their ambition. Whereas the Anti-Hero singer is leading the way by encouraging people be proud of your accomplishments and own their success.

It's another powerful message from the singer who has continued to be a role model for the younger generation. Sharing her views on feminism, body positivity, sexism and success.

In her acceptance speech for ‘1989’ that won ‘Album of the Year’ in 2015 Taylor said “I want to say to all the young women out there: There are going to be people along the way who try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame.”

She continued “But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people side track you, someday, when you get where you’re going, you will look around and you will know — it was you, and the people who love you, who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world."
