Despite the untimely loss of one of history’s most iconic singers, the spirit of Tina Turner very much lives on through her music. This is none more evident than looking at the weekly Spotify and iTunes charts this week, as a number of her songs have surged in popularity once again - leaving many to speculate if we could see three of her songs enter the UK Top 40 this evening.

With Kworb producing both daily and weekly streaming figures, the majority of Tina Turner’s work has re-entered the iTunes song chart this week, and as of this morning, three songs by the late soul legend are within the top 100 iTunes tracks downloaded or streamed this week. No surprises for out of the three what the highest charting single is - “The Best,” which is currently sitting at third-equal on the iTunes chart, with the single according to the website set for an entry this evening at number 28 in the UK Top 40.

That is followed by the classic “Proud Mary,” which is currently sitting 22nd on the iTunes Worldwide Chart, which would currently mean an entry into the UK charts at 45, while “What’s Love Got To Do With It” and “Private Dancer” are also inside the iTunes top 100 worldwide, which would lead both singles to place on the UK chart but currently outside the top 40.

However, those figures do not take into account the remaining sales and streams to take place this morning, ahead of the UK Top 40 announcement set to take place later today. Meaning if you’re a Tina Turner fan, you still have time to pump up those numbers and potentially have four tracks from the singer inside the UK single chart. Midweek figures from the UK Top 40 have demonstrated at least two will land on the chart this evening.

With regards to Tina Turner’s back catalogue - we’re safely predicting an entry into the UK album charts. Currently, her “Best Of” is sitting atop of iTunes Worldwide Album chart, with a predicted entry overnight of landing in the 25th position on the UK album chart, but again - there is still time for one final surge in the album chart
