Who is Bianca Censori - the Yeezy architect and Kanye West’s new ‘wife’?

It's Kanye West's birthday today, as the controversial rap star turns 46 years old, it's been a 45th year to forget - from being dropped by a number of brands due to his controversial comments through to the general ridicule he has received through his various outbursts, at least he can still say that being 45 had a silver lining in the form of his current girlfriend, Biano Censori.

An architect graduate from the University of Melbourne, the 27-year-old Bianca Censori seems to embody the same entrepreneurial spirit as her new husband; she left high school and immediately started her first business, Nylons Jewellery, which she ran during her time studying in Australia.

Nylons saw Censori and friends take Swarovski diamonds and create new pieces of jewellery from them, including necklaces and chokers. It was both her creative flair for taking an established product and embellishing it that led the architect to complete her master's and move to Los Angeles in 2020.

She was immediately employed at Yeezy, where she is currently working as Head of Architecture, putting her in closer proximity to the embattled hip-hop artist/entrepreneur. But when the two started seeing each other has not been answered yet, and for how long that led to the two getting “married” is another query many have had.

Censori also has a habit of bucking trends when it comes to fashion - she has been known to constantly change her hair seen with her selfies posted on her Instagram account, and was spotted wearing a figure-hugging outfit at a Balenciaga Fashion Show. Rather awkwardly, Ye’s ex, Kim Kardashian, was on the runway during the October 2022 show, acting as a brand ambassador for the fashion house.

Despite avoiding the spotlight in contrast to Ye’s famous ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, the sudden news of the wedding has unfortunately thrust Censori more into the attention of the paparazzi. What is known is that despite how long (or short) the relationship has been, Censori has had an impact on the infatuations of one Ye.

Censori Overload

Ye paid tribute to his new romance with the release of the single Censori Overload in late 2022, in which the religious hip-hop artist rapped “and The Bible said, I can’t have any more sex til marriage,” prompting many to believe this was Ye’s admission he was remaining celebrate until his union with Censori.

The single came out even though around the same time Ye revealed that he was still looking to reconcile with Kim Kardashian after her split with Pete Davidson last year. That prompted rumours that Ye was indeed seeing Censori, but the real talk came after those wedding bands were seen being worn by the pair in public after a picture emerged of the two dining at Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills.

Despite Ye and Censori’s admission (through a source) that the rings symbolise their new commitment to each other, there are many citing that their marriage is simply not legitimate.

Several gossip sites have looked into whether a marriage licence for Ye and Censori had been signed, to legally demonstrate their nuptials. TMZ has stated that despite the “private ceremony” the two had, there had been no filing of a marriage licence between the pair.
