Sundown Festival is returning this summer with a lineup of chart-topping artists from around the globe.

The annual family-friendly music festival brings some of the best artists in the scene to Norfolk and attracts thousands of people every year.

Beyond the music, festival-goers have the chance to explore the festival’s magical woodland area whilst immersing themselves in art installations or riding the funfair attractions onsite.

The event, now in its 10th year, will return this summer with a lineup of chart-topping artists from around the globe.

The 2020 edition of Sundown was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the music festival returned last year and was hailed as a huge success by organisers.

Here’s all you need to know about Sundown festival 2022.

When is Sundown Festival 2022?

The festival is usually held at the end of August or early September.

This year’s Sundown will be held from Friday 2 September to Sunday 4 September.

The campsite is open to camping ticket holders at noon on Friday, and the arena opens to day, weekend camping and weekend no camping ticket holders from 12 pm to 10.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Where is Sundown Festival?

The festival will take place in Norwich at Norfolk Showground, Norwich, NR5 0TT.

Norwich Railway Station is situated 5 miles from the festival, and there will be regular shuttle buses in operation throughout the weekend at Norwich train station. The journey to the festival takes approximately 30 minutes.

How do I get tickets for Sundown, and how much are they?

Tickets went on sale on Friday 25 February at 9 am and are available from www.sundownfestival.co.uk/tickets/

The weekend ticket costs £120.50 (£110.00 per ticket plus a per ticket booking fee of £10.50).

There’s also a weekend payment plan available so you can spread the cost of your ticket.

New for the 2022 event, there are VIP weekend packages available with access to a premium campsite and a new VIP area, which comes with posh loos, showers, DJ sets, bars and fast track queues.

Who’s on the Lineup for Sundown festival 2022?

This year’s festival will be headlined by AJ Tracey and Sean Paul, while Sigala, MS Banks, Jonas Blue and Nathan Dawe also feature on the incredible lineup.

On the main stage, hosted by Kiss FM, are Bad Boy Chiller Crew, Digga D, Amaria BB, Yung Filly, Wes Nelson, Miraa May, House Gospel Choir, Backroad Gee, A1xJ1 and Bru-C.

There will also be DJ and live sets by acts including Tom Zanetti, Wilkinson, Andy C, Jax Jones and Charlie Sloth.

What are the festival rules?

Campers will be allowed to bring a reasonable amount of alcohol into the campsite on first entry only, but glass is permitted anywhere on site.

For security reasons, all ticket holders will be subject to extra searches of their bags at this year’s event, and any items which may be used illegally will be confiscated.

Sundown Festival is open to people aged 14+, but anyone aged 14 or 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+

Anyone aged 16+ must bring an ID and may enter the festival unaccompanied.
