Gordon, Gino & Fred Go Greek 2021: when is season 3 on TV - and where do Gordon Ramsay and the other chefs go?

Gordon Ramsay, Gino Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix are some of the biggest names in the culinary world, and after travelling the world together, the three of them will be hitting our TV screens again with Gordon, Gino & Fred Go Greek.

This is everything you need to know about the BAFTA-nominated, National Television Award nominated and TV Choice Award winning programme.

What is Gordon, Gino & Fred Go Greek?

The three chefs have been travelling the world together for some time now, with Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip first airing in 2018 and Gordon, Gino & Fred: American Road Trip in 2020.

The newest adventure for the trio will take them to the islands of Greece in Gordon, Gino & Fred Go Greek.

From island hopping, jet ski racing, shipwreck diving and more, Gordon, Gino and Fred will be exploring Greece, and it’s amazing food, in the new series.

When asked about what viewers can expect from the new series, Gordon said: “Everything they’ve come to love about me, Gino and Fred creating havoc and cooking great food in beautiful locations.

“Meeting amazing food providers, discovering off-the-beaten-track destinations, having fun with the locals and of course some pretty dreadful driving when anyone other than me is behind the wheel of our various modes of transport!”

Gino said that the last trip with Gordon and Fred was “very, very cold”, so for him it was “brilliant to be back in the sunshine and enjoying beautiful islands together”.

Discussing the visit to Greece, Fred said: “This trip, due to the pandemic - Santorini was completely empty, I kid you not, nobody there. It was just Gordon, Gino and I walking in the street.

“And as much as that was sad, it was incredible, because I will never experience Santorini like that again in my life. The beauty as well, was meeting all these amazing Greek people and sharing moments with them, because that’s what life is about. It filled my head with joy.”

Where do the trio visit in episode one?

In episode one of Gordon, Gino & Fred Go Greek, the three will first take their RV to the island of Crete, Greece’s largest island, where they will go lobster diving and baking pastries.

Gordon, Gino and Fred will meet up with a diving expert who will show them how to search the wreckage of a boat for rare and expensive lobsters.

After sampling some lobster cooked up by Gordon on the boat, the three will then head to the ancient city of Chania. They’ll then head to a local bakery to sample some bougatsa, which is a local delicacy made from filo pastry and sheep’s cheese.

The bakery owner and his wife will then take the three on a bougatsa masterclass, showing them how it’s done.

Next, Gordon, Gino and Fred make their way to Santorini to try out the mud baths in the island’s volcano hot springs.

Sailing around the picturesque village of Oia, the gang will meet with Grandma Catrina to learn the art of making traditional moussaka.

Lastly they’ll arrive in the party island of Mykonos with one mission in mind - trying out the local speciality of the Mykonos sausage.

How many episodes are there - and when is it on?

There are two episodes of Gordon, Gino & Fred Go Greek, with the first episode airing on Monday 27 September at 9pm on ITV.

Episode two of the show will then air the following week, on Monday 4 October, at the same time and channel.
