Interior Design Masters season 3: what day is BBC show on TV 2022 with Alan Carr, who is Michelle Ogundehin?

Ten budding interior designers will be competing against one another, to win a life-changing commercial contract with a prestigious hotel.

The up-and-coming designers will compete in a range of design-based challenges to impress the judges.

They’ll be confronted with a new commercial space to transform. In past series, competitors have worked on shops, offices, show homes and restaurants.

Michelle Ogundehin is head judge again this season, and alongside Alan Carr she will sought after the help of design gurus and industry experts as guest judges.

When does season 3 of Interior Design Masters start?

Season 3 will began on Wednesday 9 March at 9pm.

This season of Interior Design Masters will be broadcast on BBC One instead of BBC Two.

Fans can enjoy the competition over an eight-week period, every Wednesday evening.

Who is starring in season 3 of Interior Design Masters?

Abi Davis, 27, from London is an over the top designer, who likes sparkles. She has an online Etsy shop with prints, and luxcycled work.

Amy Davies, also from London, is a 38-year-old print design and illustrator. She describes herself as bright, original and colourful.

Banjo Beale is a cheesemonger and marketer from the Isle of Mull. The 35-year-old uses cheap and free designing techniques that are green and natural.

41-year-old, Dean Powell, is a store manager from Reading, with a classic and chic style.

Another London-based competitor, Fran Lee is a fashion stylist. The 38-year-old is a fun, playful and energetic designer.

Business administrator, Molly Coath, is the youngest competitor this season, aged just 23. This vibrant and diverse competitor is from Bedfordshire.

Paul Andrews is a visual merchandiser from London. The 52-year-old describes his design style as modern with European.

63-year old, Peter Anderson, is the oldest competitor of the season. The Newcastle-based hairdresser uses the words Ibiza and Bahamas to describe his design style.

Interior stylist, Richard O’Gorman, is from Birmingham. The 29-year-old is proud to be a camp, cool and joyful competitor.

The final competitor is 32-year-old Rochelle Dalphinis, from London. This team coordinator describes her designs as extra, stylish and contemporary.

Who is head judge Michelle Ogundehin?

Michelle Ogundehin is a British magazine editor, creative consultant, TV presenter and author.

The former Elle Decoration editor-in-chief has appeared in all three seasons of Interior Design Masters, as the head judge.

She will be joined throughout the season by interior designer, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, and retail consultant and broadcaster, Mary Portas.

Will there be a season 4 of Interior Design Masters?

BBC confirmed last June that the competition show will also be returning for a fourth season.

Who are the previous winners of Interior Design Masters?

Cassie Nicholas won the first season of the show, back in 2019.

In season 2, Lynsey Ford was crowned the winner of a commercial contract to create a space at Another Place hotel in the Lake District.

She beat runner up, Siobhan Hannah Murphy.
