Hollyoaks star Owen Warner continues to have a clueless filter as he does not know who Zara Phillips is

Owen Warner seemingly lives in “Warner’s World” as the Hollyoaks actor made another faux pas on the second episode of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here

The 23-year-old shocked viewers as he did not know who Mike Tindall’s wife Zara Phillips is, when the pair were discussing how the ex-rugby player met his Royal wife with fellow campmate Babatunde Aleshe.

Mike Tindall told the comedian and actor that he had met King Charles III’s niece when he was at a pub in Sydney after being dropped from the semi-final squad for the Rugby World Cup in 2003.

He explained: “I was at the World Cup, she was out watching. I got dropped from the semi-final. I was p****d off and so I went for a beer with another guy who got dropped and a guy who was over.

“They’d met her before and they introduced us and then got chatting.”

As the rugby player informed the pair of their chance meeting, an oblivious Owen questioned whether Zara was Australian to which Mike just shook his head.

Following the initial blunder, Owen spoke to camera in the Bush Telegraph citing “how lovely” it was to hear about how Mike had met “his missus Lara.”

The “Australian Lara” quips are the latest gaffes made by the young actor who baffled viewers on the pilot episode with his lack of popular culture knowledge.

Owen, who plays Romeo Nightingale on the Channel 4 show, arrived on I’m A Celebrity in style by boat alongside pop icon Boy George, Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver, TV presenter Scarlette Douglas and Mike Tindall.

As the stars met for the first time before heading into camp, Owen asked for the Karma Chameleon singer’s name, leaving the audience cringing.

He continued his remarkable one-liners as Scarlette Douglas arrived by boat.

Sue Cleaver said: “Oh she’s from A Place In The Sun,” referring to the property show on Channel 4, to which Owen replied: “Whereabouts?”

You can catch Owen Warner every night from 9pm on ITV on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.
