American psychological horror series, Servant, created and written by Tony Basgallop, is returning for season three.

The show debuted in 2019 on AppleTV+, and season two aired in 2020.

Servant follows the story of an American couple living in Philadelphia with their baby boy, Jericho and his nanny, Leanne. The couple are in mourning after an unspeakable tragedy, which causes a rift in their marriage and paves the way for a strange force to enter their lives.

So when is the third season out, and who is in the cast?

When is Servant season 3 being released?

Servant season 3 will launch on Apple TV+ on Friday 21 January with each  new episode airing weekly on a Friday.

Apple TV+ releases new content at 12am EST, meaning that in the UK, Servant season 3 will be available to watch from 5am on 21 January.

Who is the main cast?

The cast remains the same as seasons one and two, with the addition of Sunita Mani.

Lauren Ambrose

Lauren Ambrose, full name Lauren Anne D’Ambruoso, 43, plays Dorothy Turner, a local television news reporter. Turner is a recently bereaved but mentally ill mother.

Ambrose is an American actress and singer, working for television, film and Broadway. She has won two Screen Actors Guild Awards as Claire Fisher in Six Feet Under (2001-2005) and Jilly Kitzinger in Torchwood: Miracle Day (2011).

Toby Kebbell

Toby Kebbell will reprise his role as Sean Turner, husband to Dorothy, in Servant. Sean is a stay-at-home consulting chef, who is also recently bereaved.

Kebbell, 39, is an English actor, known for his roles in Black Mirror as Liam Foxwell in the episode “The Entire History of You”(2011) and Dr Doom in Fantastic Four (2015).

Nell Tiger Free

Nell Tiger Free plays Leanne Grayson, a nanny from Wisconsin hired by the Turners to look after Jericho, their son.

Free, 22, is best known for her role as Myrcella Baratheon in seasons five and six of Game of Thrones.

Rupert Grint

Rupert Grint plays the role of Julian Pearce, Dorothy’s younger brother.

Grint, 33, is best known for his role as Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter film series. Since the end of Harry Potter, Grint has taken roles in miniseries The ABC murders as Inspector Crome, and in the film Cross of Honour as Gunner Robert Smith.

Sunita Mani

Sunita Mani is set to become part of the main cast, although no details of her character has been revealed.

Mani, 35, is an actress, dancer and comedian featuring inTV series, Mr Robot (2015-2017) as Trenton, and as Arthie Premkumar in Netflix’s GLOW (2017-2019).

The first episode of Servant season 3 will be available to stream from 5:00 AM GMT on 21 January on Apple TV+. New episodes will be released each Friday.
