What has Judi said?

Ms Love, who survived the dance-off last week, had been due to perform a cha cha to Physical by Olivia Newton-John during Saturday’s show.

Posting on Twitter, Ms Love expressed her “great disappointment” at having to miss Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

Her professional dance partner, Graziano Di Prima, also told fans he was disappointed to miss out.

But he said the pair would “come back next week stronger than ever!”.

Will the pair return to the show?

A Strictly Come Dancing spokesperson confirmed that the pair will be returning to the show “the following week” once their period of self-isolation ends and provided they are well enough to continue.

Strictly is operating in a similar way to last year, with pairs being bubbled up and a limited audience in the studio.

If a contestant is forced to self-isolate or tests positive for Covid-19, they could potentially be handed a bye to the next round.

Strictly Come Dancing has been beset with health issues this year.

Before the series had even begun, there were reports of a row on the show over some of the professional dancers being unvaccinated.

Judi Love is the fourth contestant to either become unwell or have to skip a week due to coronavirus.

Former England rugby player Ugo Monye missed last week’s show after being sidelined with a back injury.

Meanwhile, Comedian and actor Robert Webb had to quit the show in October after experiencing symptoms related to open heart surgery he had had two years ago.
