The first series debuted in 2020 and UKTV commissioning editor Pete Thornton has gave the green light for another stint of Sandylands following highly positive reviews.
So, where was the second series of Sandylands filmed - and where can I watch series one and two? This is what you need to know.
What is Sandylands series two about?
The show centres around the legendary Les Vegas (played by Bhaskar) and his long-suffering daughter, Emily (Natalie Dew).
The pair are neighbours to odd-ball couple Derek and Jeanie Swallows, played by Walliams and Corrie actress Sophie Thompson.

Series one ended on Les and poor Emily taking to sea in a pedalo, which Les expected would be primary steered by his daughter.
Series two picks up with the two crashing onto the beaches, while the location is at first hard to identify, it soon transpires that they have returned to their home town of Weston-super-Mare.
A teaser of the second series shared: "After what feels like an eternity at sea, series two sees our heroic but also law-breaking duo marooned on a beach that could be literally anywhere but turns out to actually still be in Sandylands.
"A relieved Les and Emily return home only to discover that Emily’s estranged mother Donna Vegas (Tracy-Ann Oberman, Friday Night Dinner; Toast of London), is back in town and standing, cocktail in hand, in Les’s Egyptian themed lounge.

“With a hefty insurance pay-out on the horizon and yet another unreliable person roped in to keep their secret, only one question remains - will Emily ever escape the clutches of her bickering parents and her seaside hometown?"

When filming for season two commenced, the UKTV crew were seen setting up its base on the beach lawns.
Club Tabu/ Free Love
The town’s local nightclub and events venue was also used in both series, and Bhaskar was seen outside the club back in April.

Club Tabu has recently rebranded as ‘FreeLove’ according to the venue’s Facebook.
Back in 2020, managers at the venue shared that it had opened its doors to the cast to film some of the scenes for series one and urged locals to support the show.
