Here is all you need to know about where Hollington Drive was filmed, and what locations were used in filming.

Where was Hollington Drive filmed?

Hollington Drive was filmed in Wales. The majority of the filming took place in a housing estate known as The Mill.

Filming also took place in a nearby green space called Sanatorium Park, located in the Leckwith district of western Cardiff.

Speaking at a press event ahead of the show’s release, executive producer Jonathan Fisher revealed that the location scouting took a long time.

Fisher said: “I think we started scouting for that location about six months prior to filming – and we looked at loads. We had a location scout on the road.

“We reviewed, I would say, over 100 possible cul-de-sacs, honestly, and it was one of those where we just knew when we saw it, we’d know that was the one and this was certainly the case here,” he added.

Speaking about The Mill housing estate, Fisher explained: “You can tell just from [the first 10 minutes] that alone that it’s such a fundamental part of that series and almost a character in itself. It was integral that we got it right and I think we did. We’re really happy with it.”

Wales has proved to be a popular choice as a filming location for TV shows in the last five years, with Sex Education, Keeping Faith and The Pembrokeshire Murders all shot there.
