Who is Tom Read Wilson?

Tom Read Wilson, 39, is a television personality who first grew to prominence on the E4 reality show Celebs Go Dating. Viewers will know him as the quick-witted and well-spoken receptionist and client co-ordinator at the celebrity dating agency, welcoming stars through the doors.

Tom, who has musical theatre experience after studying at Royal Academy of Music, also previously appeared as a contestant during the fifth series of The Voice UK. He also finished runner up on Celebrity Best Home Cook in 2021, narrowly missing out on the top spot to ex-politician Ed Balls.

Tom has also appeared on shows such as Supermarket Sweep, Celebrity Mastermind, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars, and Richard Osman’s House Of Games.

The musical theatre actor has also appeared on the West End, starring as Squidward in the SpongeBob SquarePants musical during a short run in 2023.

Speaking to the Daily Mail about his upcoming appearance in the jungle, Tom said: “It's funny because I got into a car the other day, and I had a little bit of a wobble. And without telling the driver anything, I said, 'Well, I'm just about to do this thing that's rather challenging and I don't know if I'm very well-equipped'.

“I've got a lot of small people in my life. I've got five godkids and three nephews, all of whom I speak to multiple times a week and see multiple times a month. So that is going to be a real wrench. I think that's why I had a wobble.”
