When does Trump arrive in Davos? Which airport will he land at - will time of his speech be changed
President Donald Trump will soon be landing in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum in Davos.
A minor electrical issue on the original Air Force One flight has caused the US President to be hours later than originally planned. He departed Washington on a replacement aircraft shortly after midnight on January 21, about two to three hours behind the original schedule.
His originally planned arrival in Davos was around 10:00 to 10:30 local time. However, due to the delay he's expected to land approximately three hours late, so roughly between 13:00 and 13:30 CET (or 1:00-1:30 PM local Swiss time).
Exact landing times aren't precisely confirmed and could vary based on flight duration. This delay makes it uncertain if he'll arrive before or right around his scheduled special address set for between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM.

Some reports suggest his speech might shift later if needed, but the program still lists it at that time. Listed below is the current schedule in UK timings.
- 9am-9.30am: Spain's Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez, speaks at Davos.
- 9.15am-10am: NATO chief Mark Rutte to appear on a panel with Finnish President Alexander Stubb and Polish President Karol Nawrocki.
- 10am-12.30pm: UN secretary general Antonio Guterres gives a special address.
- 1.30pm-2.30pm: Donald Trump gives special address.
- 2.45pm: Trump to attend private meetings with foreign leaders.
- 2.45pm-3.15pm: Javier Milei, Argentina president, speaks at the event.
- 4.25pm: Trump to take part in a reception with business leaders.
As for the airport he is due to land at, the most common and likely airport for Trump's arrival is Zurich Airport (ZRH), Switzerland's largest international hub. It's about 120 to 150 km from Davos and it's frequently used for such visits due to its capacity for transatlantic flights, security facilities, and proximity.
He is expected to land in the next few hours.
