When I first heard about Airbnb Icons Experiences, I was very excited. Imagine staying in Prince’s Purple Rain house, the Minnesota home featured in the legendary film Purple Rain. The Icons Experiences is a new category of extraordinary experiences, including joining a living room session with Doja Cat.
The one that I am most taken with is the opportunity to wake up in the iconic Musée d'Orsay. It is located in Paris, and you have the chance to stay in their clock room, which has been transformed into a bedroom by Mathieu Lehanneur, designer of the Paris 2024 Games torch and cauldron. From the terrace, you’ll witness the historic Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games along the River Seine.

Airbnb has unveiled 11 icons; including Disney and Pixar’s most iconic homes, the Up House, and the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, Italy. Other icons include stay in a 2D animated re-creation of Marvel Animation’s X-Mansion in Westchester, New York.
