The sun shone on the hallowed turf surrounding the world famous Royal Hospital Chelsea as some of the wolrd’s most exclusive cars gathered for the second Salon Prive London. Whether you’re interested in 1000bhp hypercars, supercars, classics or runaround EVs, Salon Prive had something for you.
But one thing it didn’t have was the Lamborghini Huracán Sterrato, which was due to make its UK public debut. The ground-breaking new all-terrain super sports car got stuck at customs.
Here’s a selection of the headline-grabbing cars which made their appearance in London:
9. Abarth 500e Scorpionissima
Ahead of its on-sale date in the UK in June, Fiat’s sporting arm, Abarth, displayed its all new 500e. The Abarth 500e Scorpionissima launch edition starts from £38,695, and is the first ever EV from the Scorpion sub-brand. Boasting more aggressive styling over the Fiat 500e, a wider wheelbase and sporty suspension upgrades, power comes from a single motor with 151bhp, delivered to the front wheels from the 42kWh battery. It will cover 0-62mph in 7 seconds. Abarth has yet to confirm range, though expect it to be close to 180 miles | Harry Elliott
10. Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended II
The Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended II made its UK public debut. It gives the rear passengers an extra 8.6 inches of legroom over the 'standard' Phantom, in what Rolls-Royce describes as the car's "Privacy Suite that transforms the rear cabin into a secluded sanctuary". The Phantom Extended Series II grille is illuminated and reworked with a new horizontal chrome top. The grille surround, hood trim and windshield surround — as well as the side window trim — are all available in a newly optional darkened chrome. Also new, the gold-plated Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament is now more prominent on the front. Inside, a single panel of glass spans the entire fascia to house a unique gallery displaying bespoke artwork of the owner's choice. Yours from £451,060. | Harry Elliott

11. Ferrari Roma Spider
Ferrari gave us a first look at the new convertible ‘Spider’ variant of its Roma. Like the coupe, it features a twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V8 engine that produces 611bhp and 553 lb ft of torque but replaces the solid metal roof with a folding fabric soft-top. The roof can be raised and lowered at up to 37mph, taking just 13.5 seconds to operate. Despite also needing to leave space for the folding roof, the Spider’s boot is only 17 litres smaller than the fixed-roof car’s, at 255-litres. Expect it to cost from around £185,000. | Harry Elliott
