Forget putting on your most comfortable clothes to travel, A-list stars such as BTS’s Jimin wear Dior to catch a flight, but in an effortlessly casual celebrity way

I have always wanted to be that kind of person who walks off a plane looking as impossibly glamorous and refreshed as I looked when I boarded (not that is the case in the first place!), but unfortunately that is rarely the case! Although I try and opt for a casual but stylish ‘airport ensemble’ unfortunately it doesn’t always work.

However, that doesn’t seem to be the case for BTS’s Jimin who rocked Dior on a recent flight to London. I mean Dior to travel in, that is quite something! However, rather than a Dior suit, he  of course went for a more casual look from the designer label.

He was wearing a Dior T-shirt which he paired with jeans and of course the obligatory Dior backpack. If you glanced at him without studying him, you wouldn’t have known he was even wearing Dior. However, that is the whole point.

Jimin was embracing Dior, but the ‘dressed down’ Dior approach. The T-shirt that Jimin opted for reportedly comes from the label’s Fall 23 collection. He completed his look with high top Dior sneakers, his signature black bucket hat, and of course the backpack.

It of course makes complete sense that Jimin opted for Dior for his airport look. Jimin was in London because of his role as a Dior global ambassador. In January 2023, it was announced that the label had signed him up. According to Women’s Wear Daily, “The brand’s relationship with the wrench house dates back to 2019, when Dior menswear designer Kim Jones designed stage outfits for their ‘Love Yourself: Speak Yourself’ world tour.”

Jimin also attended the 2023 Paris Men’s Fashion Week in his capacity as Dior’s new global brand ambassador. According to the brand marketing platform, ‘Lefty’ Jimin was the biggest influencer during Men’s Paris Fashion Week.
