Kensington Palace is yet to confirm whether or not Kate Middleton will attend the Wimbledon Grand Final and present the trophy to this year's winner as she has done in previous years. The Princess, 42, is currently undergoing treatment following her cancer diagnosis. According to the Mail Online the Duchess of Gloucester has been lined up as a possible replacement to hand out the trophies should Kate be unable to attend.
Catherine, Princess of Wales looked stunning at the Trooping of the Colour celebrations so we hope she feels well enough to attend the Wimbledon finals on Saturday (July 13). Until then we take a look back at Kate Middleton’s unforgettable outfits over the years and it appears she may have a favourite colour to wear for watching the tennis - and it’s not white.
Green appears to be the Princess’s go-to hue for Wimbledon as she has worn different shades of the colour to attend the tournament over the past few years. Last year the Princes wore an emerald green dress by Roland Mouret to present Carlos Alcaraz with the trophy and was spotted earlier in the week wearing a pastel green blazer by Balmain.
In 2021 she opted for a Green Emilia Wickstead Denver Dress, however, it’s not always green; she previously wore a yellow Roksanda dress in 2022. But it's the stunning blue polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich that will forever live in our minds rent free.
