Pretty in Pink: Zendaya continues her two dress trend by wearing more than one gown for the SAG Awards 2023

Why wear one dress when you can wear two gowns in one evening, seems to be the philosophy of Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach. Zendaya dazzled in two gowns at the NAACP Image Awards and decided to do the same at the SAG Awards 2023. 

For the SAG Awards 2023, Zendaya started the evening in a dusty pink Valentino couture dress before changing into another pink dress, a cut-out Giorgio Armani Privédress.

Her stylist Law Roach shared a video of Zendaya on Instagram and said: “Y’all asked for this! Day 2 Dress 3. Thank you @pppiccioli and the amazing @maisonvalentino team. #fLAWless”

Law Roach also picked out two outfits for Zendaya for the 2023 NAACP Image Awards and commented about this on his Instagram. “You had dinner… now it’s time for dessert!”

Although Zendaya changed into two dresses at both the NAACP Image Awards and the SAG Awards, other stars have done this before at awards ceremonies. At the Grammys 2022, Lady Gaga wore three dresses while Lil Nas X had five different outfits. 

For the Grammys 2022, Lady Gaga started the evening on the red carpet in a custom Armani Privé dress before changing into a blue strapless Elie Saab gown to perform in. Her final outfit of the might was a mint-green Top Studio design.

The Grammy-winning musician H.E.R. also wowed at the Grammys 2023 in three different outfits, a yellow jumpsuit, a purple sequined gown and then a third outfit with a purple shirt and sunglasses. 

However, the award for the most outfit changes at the Grammys 2022 had to go to Lil Nas X. He arrived on the red carpet in a white Balmain suit, and then changed into four different outfits on stage. 

Zendaya’s appearance at both the NAACP Image Awards and the SAG Awards comes after the actress has been out of the spotlight for several months. The fact that she decided to change twice both at the NAACP Image Awards and at the SAG Awards was a clever move by her stylist to ensure that she grabbed all the attention at both events.
