Worst Dressed stars at The Tony Awards 2026 included Sarah Paulson and Drew Barrymore

There were plenty of stars who failed to impress when it came to their outfits at The Tony Awards 2026.

Without question there were some incredibly well dressed stars at The Tony Awards 2026, Lea Michelle wore an outfit from the Michael Kors Collection and looked effortlessly cool. The reason why her look worked well is that she teamed a white vest top with a long black evening skirt and the combination was unusual but very striking.

I also thought Ayesha Curry looked stunning in Monse whilst Mark Strong looked stylish in a midnight blue jacket. When it comes to the winners at The Tony Awards 2026 Schmigadoon! won the award for Best Musical category, Best Original Score, Best Orchestrations and Best Book of a Musical.

The winner of Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical was Joshua Henry for Ragtime whilst Cassie Levy (also Ragtime) took home the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical.

The Best Revival of a Play went to Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman whilst Alden Ehrenreich won Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for his performance in Becky Shaw.

Ragtime won Best Revival of a Musical whilst the award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play went to Lesly Manville for Oedipus.

When it comes to the worst dressed stars at The Tony Awards 2026, I was not a fan of Sarah Paulson’s Erdem look and this is coming from someone who is normally a huge fan of Erdem. It looked like an outfit with two different parts that just didn’t mesh together at all well.

It wasn't so much the trousers or shirt that didn't work for me when it came to Drew Barrymore's outfit but the gloves she chose to wear with the look. Take a look at NationalWorld’s worst dressed at The Tony Awards 2026, do you agree or disagree with who we have picked?
