McDonald’s Chicken Big Mac: UK release date, calories in burger and the other new items set for the menu

The Chicken Big Mac is launching in selected restaurants this week.
But, McDonald’s is not launching it alone, and have officially introduced several more new items to its menu.
And, some fan favourites will be returning too.

When is the Chicken Big Mac launching and how many calories does it have?
The Chicken Big Mac is priced at £4.09 for just the sandwich and £5.99 for the medium meal, which comes with chips and a drink.
It is 50p more expensive than a classic Big Mac, but prices vary between branches.
The Chicken Big Mac also has more calories at 544kcal compared to a Big Mac which is 508kcal.

The burger will launch in select stores from February 2 and follows a successful pilot in Australia.
However, fans only have until 15 March to try it before the burger disappears from menus.
“It’s one of McDonald’s MOST requested menu items and it’s finally here – featuring two 100% chicken breast patties in a crispy coating, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and the deliciously world-famous inimitable Big Mac sauce between the iconic three-layered bun”, a statement said.
What else is being added to McDonald’s menu?
Double Big Mac
Beef lovers will rejoice as the double Big Mac is making a return this week.

Hide AdCosting £4.39, the Double Big Mac is perfect for anyone who loves the Big Mac and is feeling extra hungry. The Double Big Mac will also be available as a meal, but no price has been set.
Galaxy Chocolate/ Salted Caramel McFlurry
For anyone who enjoys a hearty McFlurry, the Galaxy chocolate and Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry have both made a return.
The dessert is made from soft dairy ice cream with swirled in Galaxy pieces and either Galaxy chocolate sauce or Galaxy salted caramel sauce.
They cost £1.49, or 99p for the miniature version.
McPlant
Anyone who is a fan of McDonald’s plant-based burger, the McPlant, will be pleased to know it is now a fixed item on the menu across all UK and Ireland stores.

Mozzarella Dippers
The much-beloved cheesy-goodness mozzarella dippers are making a comeback this week.
Prices are three for £1.89 or a share box will cost £5.09.
Chicken Legend
When the Chicken Legend disappeared from McDonald’s menu last October, many fans were not happy about it.
They were removed from the menu due to supply issues, but now it’s returning on 2 February 2022. However, prices have not yet been confirmed.
