Personal finances have been brought into focus for millions of people during the Covid pandemic – here’s a list of UK regions with the highest retirement savings

Higher salaries do not always mean a larger pension pot, according to research conducted by PensionBee. The online pensions provider highlighted notable regional differences in retirement savings across the UK workforce from a survey of 2,000 people. Figures show that although London has the highest average salary, it is way down the table when it comes to the average amount saved for retirement.
