Hopefully by now you’ve studied our explainer about how to get to BST Hyde Park today for BLACKPINK’s long awaited performance, you’ve not packed some of the prohibited items and you’ve certainly schooled up on the support acts performing today.
But what about those who may have missed out (so far) on going to the BLACKPINK pop up store on Marylebone Road or those who want to just spend their money on merchandise from the band while at the performance itself?
PeopleWorld, and our ever growing love for K-Pop, has taken a look at some of the merchandise options that have been for sale during the group’s world tour and honestly, some of those options look to be quite interesting to say the least.
While the standard t-shirts and hoodies are for sale, there is also the chance to pick up a pack of photocards with the group adorned across their glossy material, key chains either for the tour itself or of your favourite band member, and even a photobook - a standard for K-Pop acts and even used by J-Idols in Japan as a means of promoting themselves.
We’re just not too sure about the need for BLACKPINK branded sticky tape though; hats off to the marketing and promotion team for thinking outside the box on that one. We’re sure Disney were laughed at at one stage for branded plasters when they first went on sale.
