Is Taylor Swift performing at The Brit Awards 2026? Reports suggest US superstar is gearing up for 'special appearance'
US superstar Taylor Swift is reportedly set to make a special appearance at The Brit Awards 2026.
The annual ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 28 for the first time outside of London as the iconic music award ceremony makes a move north to Manchester.
The 2026 ceremony will have all eyes on its as some of the biggest music stars from the past year are celebrated. And there is no bigger star than US singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.
The chart-topping singer could be gearing up for a special appearance at the ceremony, following the release of her 12th album The Life Of A Showgirl.

While a Brits appearance hasn’t yet been officially confirmed, her schedule is lining up for a possible Brits-shaped gap. The Sun reports that Taylor landed secretly in the UK this week, with her schedule set to take her to Manchester next week. Taylor is then set to leave the UK two days after the ceremony.
A source told the newspaper: “Taylor is hiding out in London at the moment and is scheduled to visit Manchester, which seems like she could be lined up for a surprise appearance at the Brit Awards.
“Taylor was handed the Global Icon Award at the ceremony back in 2021 and has a huge amount of respect for the Brits. She loves it. Brits bosses are trying to keep everything under lock and key, but it feels too much like a coincidence that Taylor is secretly in the UK at the exact time of the Brits.
“The fact her team are all heading home the Monday after the ceremony is fishy. Manchester is an amazing city, but Taylor wouldn’t just be coming to look at the cathedral and the Etihad, would she?”
Taylor recently claimed a sixth UK number one single with Opalite, her second release from The Life Of A Showgirl. The Fate Of Ophelia also hit number one in October 2025 and became her longest-running number one single in the UK.
