In the latest “nepo baby” news, the daughter of the Queen of Pop, Madonna, has admitted that her sexual preferences are what she regards as her greatest sin. Lourdes Leon, who has adopted the stage name ‘Lolahol’ as she embarks on a career in modelling, music and dancing, made the admission during an interview with The Face.
"I would say my biggest sin is liking boys. It’s such a curse. If you can avoid it - men or boys in general - I would, because what a distraction. If you want to be focused on something the number one tactic is to 'avoid boys at all costs'." Lourdes then went on to admit, "I’m painfully straight, it’s terrible. I wish it wasn’t so, but unfortunately these are the cards I’ve been dealt. I am cursed, plagued with liking these men."

Hide AdThat statement raised a few eyebrows, none more than those here at Peopleworld, when you look at the career of Madonna and her use of exploring the world of sexual preferences and “kinks” - none more evident than her controversial video for “Justify My Love,” which dealt with both sexuality and S&M, and her coffee table book simply titled “Sex.”
It almost feels like her statement is a means of distancing herself from one of the most talked about moments of Madonna’s evolution throughout the ages, with Madonna at times playing up to her sexuality. Either being spotted with masculine characters such as Sean Penn or Dennis Rodman (despite his cross dressing antics), or going as far as to share a same-sex kiss on stage with Britney Spears at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards… much to the chagrin of a recently single Justin Timberlake, who cameras caught when the kiss took place during the live broadcast.
So her admission poses the question - are audiences now, given Lourdes career choices emulating that of her mothers, putting out comments like this to try and move away from comparisons between the two? And are we unfairly comparing her to her mother, much like these other “nepo babies”?
The “nepo babies” that have been compared to their parents - with mixed results
Rumer Willis
The daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, Rumer Willis faced the challenge of stepping into the spotlight of her parents' successful acting careers. Despite her own talent and accomplishments, she has often been compared to her parents and had to overcome the unfair expectations placed upon her.
Scott Eastwood

Liv Tyler
Liv Tyler, daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, grew up with the constant association with her famous father. Despite her successful acting career, she has had to deal with the pressure and comparisons that come with being the child of a rock star. Though it hasn’t dogged her after star turned roles in hits such as The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, detractors will always refer to her as “Steven Tyler’s daughter.”
Dakota Johnson
Dakota Johnson, daughter of actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, faced high expectations as she pursued her own acting career. Starring in the widely popular "Fifty Shades" film series brought her significant attention, but also criticism and comparisons to her parents' success.
Liza Minnelli
Queen Nepo Baby? Perhaps, but Liza Minnelli, daughter of the legendary entertainer Judy Garland, had a challenging path to navigate as she pursued a career in the entertainment industry. While she achieved great success as an actress and singer, she often had to contend with comparisons to her iconic mother. Luckily, and this is probably because I have a soft spot for her, Liza transcended her mother’s popularity and perhaps eclipsed it given the length of her career and continued popularity.
