Harry Potter star Bonnie Wright, best known for playing Ginny Weasley in the film franchise, has married her boyfriend Andrew Lococo.

Bonnie Wright is a 31-year-old British actress and director, best known for her role as Ron Weasley’s little sister - and later Harry Potter’s wife - Ginny Weasley in all eight Harry Potter films.

The film franchise began in 2001, when Bonnie was just ten years old, and ended in 2011 when she was 20.

Since then, she’s also tried her hand at directing, writing and producing.

Most recently, she appeared in the HBO Special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return To Hogwarts, where she reunited with her former co-stars to mark two decades since the release of the first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Bonnie does not tag him in her social media posts, and what appears to be his Instagram page is private.

How long have Bonnie Wright and Andrew Lococo been together?

Bonnie has kept most of the details of her relationship with Andrew Lococo private.

It is not known exactly when the pair started dating, but she posted of him on her Instagram account in November 2020, wishing him a happy birthday.

In February, she revealed in a Youtube video that she had moved from Los Angeles to San Diego to live with him.

She said: “Andrew and I had been going back and forth between these two cities for a long time, so we were ready to live in the same place.

“This is Andrew’s house, which is now our house. He has lived here for 10 years [and] has a beautiful garden. He’s looked after it very well.”

When did Bonnie Wright and Andrew Lococo get engaged?

It is not known when the couple became engaged.

Bonnie last posted on Instagram about her new husband a week before their nuptials, with an image of them both alongside another of her in bright pink trousers with the caption “Love feels like these pink pants. Electric and fluffy all at once.”

The couple did not formally announce their engagement.

Bonnie announced her marriage to Andrew Lococo with a short video on her official Instagram page on the evening of Sunday 20 March.

The video shows Bonnie’s hand resting on top of her new husband’s above a swimming pool, each with their wedding rings on display.

The video is captioned “Yesterday was the best day of my life thanks to my husband!!”

It is not known where the newlyweds got married.

Fans and friends were quick to congratulate the happy couple, including Bonnie’s Harry Potter co-stars.

Tom Felton, who played Slytherin student Draco Malfoy, wrote “Congratulations B”.

Scarlett Hefner, who played fellow Slytherin student Pansy Parkinson, wrote  “Congratulations to you both!”

Afshan Azad, who played Ravenclaw student Padma Patil, wrote “Love you so much”.

James Phelps, who played Ginny’s brother Fred Weasley, posted two celebratory emojis.

Has Bonnie Wright been married before?

Bonnie Wright was previously engaged to fellow actor Jamie Campbell Bower from April 2011 to June 2012.

The pair met on the set of the Harry Potter films, as Jamie played wizard Gellert Grindelwald in his younger days in the 2010 film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1.

At the time the engagement came to an end the split was said to be amicable.
