25-year-old man charged with being a member of terror group ISIS, following arrest at Heathrow airport

A 25-year-old man has been charged with being a member of the so-called Islamic State terror group.
Shabazz Suleman was arrested under the Terrorism Act on September 29 at Heathrow Airport.

Hide AdOn Tuesday, Thames Valley Police said he had been charged after an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing South East (CTPSE) with a number of offences and is due to appear in court on Wednesday.
Suleman, of Freemantle Road in High Wycombe, is accused of having committed offences of preparing for acts of terrorism, under section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006.
He is also accused of membership of a proscribed organisation – namely Isis or the so-called Islamic State group – under section 11 of the Terrorism Act 2000.
He is further charged, under section 54 of the Terrorism Act 2000, with receiving weapons training.
