Heroin and cocaine dealer filmed flaunting his wealth by pouring champagne over Rolex watches is jailed

A drug dealer who filmed himself flaunting his wealth by pouring champagne over his expensive Rolex has been jailed for 15 years.

Mansoor Kiani, 28, showed off his lavish lifestyle in videos, including one of him being driven around in a Ferrari worth more than £180,000.

In another video, Kiani filmed himself and friends pouring champagne over their Rolex watches at a private nightclub in London.

He was jailed for 15 year and six months after being found guilty of conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine this week.

What police said about Mansoor Kiani’s sentence

DI Tom Stean from Bedfordshire Police said: “Kiani’s money was made entirely from illegal activity.

"I am sure many others will feel sick watching him parade his wealth in this video, and share my satisfaction that he is now facing a lengthy prison sentence."

A police investigation found that Kiani was a wholesale supplier of class A drugs after cops seized his messages from Encrochat, an encrypted tool used by criminals to communicate.

Messages showed Kiani, of Luton, Bedfordshire, arranging meetings with drugs and cash couriers, coordinating payments to those supplying him with the drugs, and arranging codewords for use during exchanges.

Kiani’s arrest came under Bedfordshire Police’s Operation Costello - a crackdown on organised crime by seizing encrypted criminal messages.

DI Stean added: “We know that drugs fuel widespread criminality, from gang violence and exploitation by those involved in importing and selling, to users driven to robbery and burglary crime to raise money to feed their addictions.

“Op Costello is not looking at street dealers; we are going after the big players involved in fuelling local drugs markets.

"These individuals are funding lavish lifestyles off the back of violence, exploitation and the misery of others."

Since Operation Costello was launched 18 months ago, more than 65 people have been arrested and 120 warrants carried out, with nearly 100 kilos of Class A drugs and more than £1 million in assets seized in Luton.
