Met Police cops launch murder investigation after man in his 20s shot and killed on 'residential street'

The Metropolitan Police said that officers were called to the scene on Bravington Road in Westminster at around 11.06pm on Wednesday, September 4. Cops attended the scene alongside London Ambulance Service after receiving report of a man injured in a shooting.
A man in his 20s was found with gunshot injuries. Despite the best efforts of emergency services, the man was declared dead at the scene shortly after the incident.

Hide AdPolice say that the man’s next of kin has been informed, while a murder probe has been launched. A crime scene and road closures are in place around the location of the fatal shooting, but no arrests have been made in connection with the incident as of yet.
Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley said: "The incident took place in a residential street and as a result I am sure there are people who may have captured footage on their doorbell or dash cameras that could be vitally important for us.
"I need those people to check immediately and share any material they have with us immediately. Equally if you saw or heard anything before the incident, or after it, I need you to speak to my team so that we can have the best possible chance of finding whoever responsible for this horrific crime and bringing them to justice."
