A 32-year-old man will be sentenced for dangerous driving after smashing head-on into a lorry with his partner and child in the car.
Before the devestating collision Declan Webster had knocked back seven pints during a seven-hour pub binge with brothers Michael and Robert Bower.

Overtaking at 71mph
When the trio appeared at Chesterfield Magistrates Court prosecutor Becky Allsop said Michael could be seen overtaking Robert at 71mph in the lead up to the collision, Derbyshire Times reports.
As Webster’s car spins off in a cloud of flying debris after the crash the Range Rover can be seen slowing as it nears the roundabout and the scene of the accident.
Prosecutor Becky Allsop said it was “extreme good fortune that no-one was injured”.

Webster, of West Street, Chesterfield, Robert Bower, 33, of Corner Pin Close, Staveley, and Michael Bower, 27, of Hyndley Road, Bolsover, all admitted dangerous driving.
A magistrate - noting the court’s sentencing powers were “insufficient” at a maximum of six month’s imprisonment - told all three defendants they would be sentenced at Derby Crown Court.
