Any parent will tell you that one of the most treasured moments in family life is when the eldest child meets their new sibling for the first time.

The same can be said for when a new pet pooch is introduced in to the home.

This exact moment was captured on camera by one woman from Wales, who is a proud dog mum to two golden retriever puppies.

What does the video show?

The super sweet video shows Charlotte Greedy, who is a mum and author from Pontyclun in Wales, bringing golden retriever puppy Minnie home for the first time to meet her big brother Kobe, who is a one-year-old golden retriever. In the video, which is captioned ‘welcome home Minnie’, Charlotte carries the little puppy through the door in a cute basket adorned with her name.

Viewers see that Kobe is sitting patiently waiting for the arrival of his new baby sister, and as soon as he sees her he excitedly runs over to her, with his tail wagging, so he can greet her. Charlotte gently and slowly lowers the basket to the floor so that Kobe can sniff little Minnie and the two can get acquainted.

The charming video ends with Charlotte getting Minnie out of the basket and putting her down on all four paws, so the two siblings can explore their home together. Kobe is so happy that he can barely keep still and keeps running across the room, but then soon calms down so he can follow his little sister on her first adventure.
