5. Tippi Hedren
93-year-old Nathalie Kay ‘Tippi’ Hedren, who was born on 19 January 1930, is an American actress, animal rights activist, and fashion model. She played the lead role of Melanie Daniels in Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (1963). Hitchcock then became her drama coach and gave her an education in film-making. She retired from acting in 2018, but she still accompanies daughter Melanie Griffith and granddaughter Dakota Johnson, who are both also famous actresses, to various events. 6. Joel Grey
Joel Grey is a 91-year-old American actor, singer, dancer, photographer and theatre director who has won an Academy Award, a Tony Award, and a Golden Globe Award. He is best known for portraying the Master of Ceremonies in the musical Cabaret on Broadway as well as in the 1972 film adaptation, but most recently he made a cameo in Lin-Manuel Miranda's ‘Tick, Tick… Boom!’ and also appeared in three episodes of the 2022 FX thriller The Old Man. He was born on 11 April 1932, and is father to actress Jennifer Grey, best known for her role as Frances ‘Baby’ Houseman in 1987 hit romantic comedy Dirty Dancing. 7. Chita Rivera
Three-time Tony Award-winning actor Chita Rivera, whose real name is Dolores Conchita Figueroa del Rivero Anderson, is a Broadway legend known for portraying the role of Anita in West Side Story (1957). She has just entered her 10th decade, having turned 90 on 23 January. In total, she has been nominated for the Tony Award ten times, as either Best Featured Actress in a Musical or Best Actress in a Musical, which is a record. 8. Eva Marie Saint
Eva Marie Saint, 98, has had a seven-decade long career. She was born on 4 July 1924 and will turn 99 later this year. She has won an Academy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award and has also been nominated for a Golden Globe Award and two British Academy Film Awards. Saint is both the oldest living and earliest surviving Academy Award-winner and also one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood cinema. She retired from acting in 2021.
