‘La famiglia’ is such an important aspect of Italian culture and meal times, so it’s no wonder the famous chef has finally incorporated his brood into his cooking shows.

Viewers of the first episode were quick to ask who his wife is, and what her roots are. So, here is everything we know about Jessica Stellina Morrison.

Who is Gino D’Acampo’s wife?

Gino D’Acampo has been married to Jessica Stellina Morrison for nearly two decades, and together for 26 years.

The couple met in 1995 at Sylvester Stallone’s Mambo King restaurant in Marbella, where a then 18-year-old Gino was working as a cook.

Prior to walking down the aisle, they had been together for six years, with a one year break which Gino later said cemented his love for his wife.

Gino and Jessica married in 2002, after relocating to England and settling down while Gino began his chef career.

Jessica is half-English and half-Italian, which may be why she reckons she knows best in the kitchen.

During an interview with Hello earlier this year, Gino said: “There is always someone in the kitchen with me but not my wife though.

“Not my wife because we argue in the kitchen. She says that she knows best but I say that I know best. So it’s always one or the other."

Does Gino D’Acampo have children?

Gino and Jessica share three children, two sons and a daughter.

Their eldest son Luciano, 19, recently began working with his dad and helped open Gino’s new restaurant in London, named after his eldest son.

Gino and Jessica also have Rocco, 16 and eight-year-old Mia.

While the celebrity chef is keen to keep his family out of the limelight, he has shared snippets about his parenting style, which he calls ‘traditional’.

Speaking about meals, he said: "You can see my wife look at the children, saying with her eyes ‘Don’t even think about it, he’s not going to bend’."

He added: "My kids are not allowed to be fussy eaters. The problem with fussy children is their stupid parents. I run a family kitchen and in my house we don’t have options. I never had options, why should they?"

But, the 45-year-old Italian added that he thoroughly enjoys time with his kids, especially when it involves food.

"On a Sunday, Jessie will cook for all of us, and we all really look forward to it," he said, adding: "I much prefer them to flashy showbiz bashes. I’d much prefer to be at home with my family than go out."

What does Jessica Stellina Morrison work as?

Gino’s wife is a stay at home mother and housewife, running their home and taking care of their three children while Gino regularly works late and travels.

In 2010, he described his wife as a "lady of leisure" who keeps him on his toes.

He added: "My wife is a very clever woman," he said, "she knows when to say something and when to bite her tongue."

Gino grew up in Naples and moved to the UK in the late 90s, but now splits his time between the two countries.

He owns a stunning, rustic mansion in the mountains of Sardinia as well as a £1.25 million property in Hertfordshire.

The family spend six months of the year in each spot, though he regularly travels for work with fellow celebrity mates, Gordon Ramsay and Fred Sirieix, with whom he filmed Gordon, Gino & Fred Go Greek.

He recently told Hertfordshire Live that he loves his English home, saying: "We have a big garden; there’s a swimming pool, and we keep chickens. I love them. I love getting up in the morning and collecting the eggs."

However, he flew the family to Sardinia during Covid and admitted it was some of the best times he has had in the past decade, as their rural home meant they never felt the true impact of the Covid lockdowns.
