Khloe Kardashian has revealed that she had a “rare” tumour removed from her face, in a recent operation, as what she thought was a normal blemish was far more serious.
The reality TV star, 38, has been seen wearing an “ever-evolving bandage” on her face for a few weeks now, and she has finally addressed it to her followers on Instagram.

Hide AdThe Kardashians star set the record straight by explaining: “After noticing a small bump on my face and assuming it was something as minor as a zit, I decided to get it biopsied 7 months after realising it was not budging.”
She continued to explain that she had the bump examined by two dermatologists, who also decided to perform a biopsy, as they believed what they were seeing was “incredibly rare” for someone of Khloe’s age.
The Good American designer revealed that just a few days later, she was told she needed an “immediate operation” to remove the tumour from her face.
She went on to say that she chose to call Dr Garth Fischer, who she considers to be a “friend of the family” and “one of the best surgeons in Beverly Hills.”

The youngest of the three Kadashians, also revealed that she discovered she had melanoma on her back, when she was 19, which she also had surgery to remove.
Addressing the harrowing health scare was her way of encouraging some of her 276 million Instagram followers, “to get checked, and frequently” if they spot anything unusual on their bodies.
She then informed her followers that they will probably see her scar or indentation from where the tumour was. But until then, she wrote: “I hope you enjoy how fabulous I’m making these face bandages look.”

Then added: “Most people aren’t as lucky as me and I am forever thankful and grateful.”
She then posted a few photos of herself in full make-up and praised her make-up artist, Ash K Holm, who has been handling the bandages since the operation, a few weeks ago.
Khloe’s surgeon Dr. Garth Fischer reposted her explanation, and wrote about how he was saddened that she needed to remove such “a dangerous and significant tumour from [her] face.”
Fischer added: “Now let’s get this scar to heal great and be mindful of too much sun exposure :)”
