It would be a gross understatement to say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s lives and friendships have only changed "slightly" since their wedding in 2018. "Cataclysmic" would be a more apposite word to use to describe how everything in their worlds seems to have turned upside down since then. Not only have they moved from the UK to California and stepped back as senior working royals, but it would seem all facets of their lives have altered, including their friendships.

According to reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are no longer friends with Victoria and David Beckham who were guests at their wedding. The Daily Mail reports that “their friendship seems to have died. Reciprocally, Meghan and Harry were not guests at the wedding of the Beckhams’ son Brooklyn to US heiress Nicola Peltz in April last year.”

Although Meghan Markle’s friend Serena Williams was in attendance when Lionel Messi made his debut recently for David Beckham’s Inter Milan football team (Kim K was also there), Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not there. The Daily Mail goes on to say that “In the Beckhams’ case, there was a suspicion the couple may have leaked stories about the Sussexes, an accusation The Mail on Sunday has been told left David ‘absolutely bloody furious.”

Before Victoria Beckham and Meghan Markle’s friendship allegedly waned, the pair reportedly were first introduced to one another by their respective partners. In 2018, Vanity Fair wrote that “While her wedding dress designer remains a closely guarded secret, Meghan Markle has turned to her new pal Victoria Beckham for style advice.”

Meghan Markle has worn Victoria Beckham designs on several occasions. The Duchess of Sussex wore a Victoria Beckham dress to the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey in March 2019. One of her most iconic Victoria Beckham looks is without question the blue midi dress that she chose to wear for her first public appearance in the UK after the couple announced that they would be stepping down from duties as senior working royals.

Meghan Markle also chose Victoria Beckham for Christmas Day 2018 and chose a midnight blue fitted midi dress.
