Whilst King Charles has managed to have some ‘down time’ in Transylvania following his coronation, things have been anything but ‘peaceful’ for Prince Harry in the last few months. When you are involved in any court case, it is without question a stressful affair, and having spent two days in the witness box being interrogated by Andrew Green KC, who has been referred to as the ‘beast,’ it is no wonder that Prince Harry is feeling a little fragile.

Sky News reported that when Prince Harry left the witness box, “He puffs out his cheeks, clearly drained, and briefly puts his hands on his face.” The article goes on to say that “He’s staying in court to listen to Jane Kerr, formal royal editor of the Mirror, who is now questioned by the duke’s barrister, David Sherborne."

Just as he was alone for the coronation without his wife, Meghan Markle by his side, Prince Harry was alone once again (his wife Meghan and children stayed behind in Montecito) whilst he took to the witness box for the last two days.

Prince Harry of course did not stay for any longer than was required at the coronation and flew back to Montecito as quickly as he could in order to make it back for Prince Archie’s fourth birthday party celebrations.

After celebrating his daughter Princess Lilibet’s second birthday last weekend, he is in no doubt very keen to return to Montecito as quickly as possibly, even as early as this evening in order to get back to family life once again.

According to The Guardian, “The Duke of Sussex fought back tears later in the session as his barrister David Sherborne reflected on the damage caused by press intrusion.”

Although some might argue that he will stay in the UK one more night after the court case, judging by previous form, it is much more likely that he returns to California to ‘recover’ as soon as he possibly can.
